Just a brief introduction on World Vision and the 30-Hour Famine movement.

We'll be updating this blog as we get more details about the camp sorted out so check back often!

World Vision

World Vision is a relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. World Vision is dedicated to working with the world's most vulnerable people. World Vision serves all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

World Vision helps the poor to help themselves, working with them to build sustainable futures for their children, families and communities through emergency relief, education, health care, economic development and promotion of justice.

30 Hour Famine

The 30-Hour Famine is a global movement against hunger and poverty. Famine participants go without food for 30 hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that children and families in need endure everyday.

They also raise funds, transforming their hunger into hope for children and families in need. The Famine aims to inspire and empower ordinary people to care for those in need, both locally and globally.
